District 1 is where most of the city's homegrown labels keep at least one storefront, from Vincom Center Dồng Khởi to smaller studio-style shops tucked into side streets like Ton That Thiep. It is the easiest single district to cover on foot if you only have one afternoon.
A short ride from the center, Nhieu Loc has become a pocket for Vietnam's more design-forward independent labels, the kind of shops that do not need a mall address to build a following.
